TO THOSE WHO HELPED BUILD THIS SITE

WHEN I STARTED THIS PROJECT I INTENDED IT TO CONSIST OF MY COLLECTION OF PHOTOS OF CATHOLIC CHURCHES. HOWEVER IT SOON BECAME OBVIOUS THAT IT WOULD TAKE MANY YEARS TO GATHER PHOTOS OF ALL THE CHURCHES IN AUSTRALIA. AT THAT STAGE I SOUGHT THE HELP IN GATHERING PHOTOS FROM ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY. THE RESPONSE WAS OVERWHELMING, NOT JUST FROM THOSE ASKED BUT ALSO FROM PARISHIONERS WHO WENT OUT AND TOOK PHOTOS JUST TO SEND IN FOR THE SITE AND FELLOW CHURCH ARCHITECTURE FANS WHO SENT IN THEIR OWN COLLECTIONS. TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED A HEARTFELT THANK YOU. THE SITE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BUILT WITHOUT YOU. THERE IS HOWEVER A SPECIAL GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE GONE BEYOND ORDINARY HELP AND HAVE BECOME COLLABORATORS, PROVIDING A CONSTANT STREAM OF IMAGES AND WATCHING OUT FOR CATHOLIC CHURCHES IN THEIR TRAVELS. THESE COLLABORATORS ARE LISTED BELOW WITH THEIR CONTACT AND WEBSITE DETAILS. MOVING THE HAND OVER THE IMAGES IN THE ALPHABETICAL LISTING WILL INDICATE THE SOURCE OF THE PHOTO.
